Match every identifier
Request clear images of the VIN or chassis number in the vehicle's physical location and compare it with available registration or export documents. The invoice or approval sheet should use the same VIN or stock reference. If a public photo hides the full VIN for privacy, the complete number still needs to be exchanged securely during the transaction.
Build mileage evidence
An odometer photo is useful but not conclusive by itself. Compare displayed mileage with service information when available, interior wear, pedal and steering-wheel condition, tire dates and diagnostic data supported by that model. Inconsistencies should be explained before approval.

Registration year, manufacturing date and model year can differ. Ask which date the quotation uses.
